Stamford’s WWE and one of Indonesia’s leading pay TV broadcasters signed a six-month pay-per-view deal to distribute WWE’s videotaped wrestling and live-action programming to some 900,000 households in the southeast Asian island nation, authorities say.
Financial terms of WWE’s pact with MNC Sports weren’t disclosed.
The deal covers WWE’s flagship weekly TV show WWE Raw and WWE Specials such as WWE TLC, WrestleMania and Royal Rumble.
The first show, WWE RAW, premiered on MNC SkyVision last Saturday.
