Stamford live wrestling, video and film promoter WWE has hired a Hollywood TV talk-show executive to oversee WWE’s push into reality-show and children’s programming outside the ring.
Eric Pankowski is WWE’s new senior vice president for creative and development.
He reports to Executive Vice President Stephanie McMahon.
Pankowski previously was a senior executive at Reveille and Warner Bros., where he focused on daytime, access and late night programming in syndication and cable.
He launched comedian George Lopez’s Lopez Tonight show, and was involved in The Ellen DeGeneres Show and several other shows.
Pankowski holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University Bloomington.
