Stamford live-action promoter WWE says it will stage its first-ever live wrestling event in Russia next spring.
WWE said its WWE RAW World Tour will perform at Luzhniki Small Sports Arena in Moscow on April 11.
WWE International Managing Director Dominic Hayes lsaid the live event aims to leverage its success earlier this year televising its lineup to its Russian fans.
WWE is co-promoting the event with Russia’s SAV Entertainment, which previously brought such acts as Paul McCartney, U2, Britney Spears, Aerosmith and Elton John to the nation.
