Wolcott metal parts manufacturer pays $2.1M for Cheshire industrial building

A limited liability company tied to a Wolcott metal parts maker recently paid $2.1 million for a Cheshire industrial building.

Knotter 25 Realty LLC. – which shares principals  and a Wolcott address with manufacturer Hob Industries Inc. – paid $2.1 million for a 36,267-square-foot light industrial building on 7.2 acres at 25 Knotter Drive in Cheshire. The deal was recorded by the town on June 9.

Hob Industries makes eyelets, wick clips, grommets and washers, operating out of a 19,600-square foot building on 3.7 acres on Bound Line Road in Wolcott. Its principals are Peter A. Macary, Sarah E. Macary and Francis X. Macary Jr.

The Cheshire property had been headquarters for Erickson Metals Corp., a supplier of aluminum products, until about a year ago, when the facility was closed, and Erickson moved its headquarters to Denver. The company also maintains locations in Minnesota and New Mexico.
The Cheshire property was sold by Erickson Realty LLC.
