A Wolcott-based company has been named Xerox Corp.’s first and only Platinum Document Technology Partner in Connecticut, allowing it to sell, install and service Xerox equipment in state offices, municipalities and commercial businesses, the company said.
As a result of the partnership, XEROX, which is based in Norwalk, has named JANCO Business Systems as the SBE (Small Business Enterprise) reseller and service provider for all Xerox products pertaining to the state of Connecticut, according to the company.
In addition, XEROX named the company the authorized reseller on its contract with the Capitol Region Education Council’s cooperative purchasing program, which will allow the state’s public schools to purchase equipment through JANCO without going through their own competitive bidding processes, said JANCO Vice President Jim Janetty.
JANCO also was named the designated installer and servicer of Xerox products for The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS), a consortium of numerous universities, colleges, state and local agencies that purchase technology cooperatively, the company said.
