There are currently over 3,700 cybersecurity-related job openings in Connecticut, and more than 8,000 people in the state employed in cybersecurity-related jobs, according to industry tracker Cyber Seek. The most common industry jobs in the state include:

  • Vulnerability analyst/penetration tester
  • Cybersecurity manager/administrator
  • Cybersecurity consultant
  • Network engineer/architect
  • IT director
  • Systems engineer
  • Software developer/engineer
