Middletown’s Wireless Zone said it has promoted Joe Johnson to president.
Johnson had been senior executive vice president of the Verizon Wireless retail franchise since early 2013. He was appointed chief operating officer in April 2014 — a title he will keep.
Johnson, who previously worked for Target Corp., was officially promoted in October, but Wireless Zone did not announce it until Monday.
He succeeds Kevin Sinclair, who is now executive advisor at Wireless Zone’s parent company, Glentel Inc.
