Wine event raises $160,000

 “An Evening of Fine Wines,” a fundraising event organized by The Manchester Community College Foundation Inc., generated $160,000 for scholarships and programs at the college. About 700 people took part in the event which featured more than 25 tasting tables as well as hors d’oeuvres and Viennese-style desserts, prepared by the college’s culinary arts students. Fleming’s restaurant was the host.
