SS&C Technologies Inc. named David N. Reid to run the Windsor financial software-services provider’s international operations, based in London.
Reid takes over his new responsibilities right away as senior vice president and managing director, the company said Tuesday.
Rahul Kanwar also was promoted immediately to take Reid’s former seat as senior vice president and managing director for SS&C Fund Services in Windsor.
Reid returned to SS&C in 2005 to run the fund services unit after stints as vice president at BNY Mellon and Conning Asset Management, where he was responsible for building the investment accounting outsourcing business. Earlier in his career, Reid was with SS&C and was one of the original developers of SS&C’s CAMRA system.
Kanwar, previously in SS&C’s New York City office, has been with the company since it bought out Kanwar’s former employer, Eisnerfast LLC in March 2005, SS&C said.
He also had a hand in SS&C’s subsequent acquisitions of Northport LLC, TheNextRound Inc., and Geller Investment Partnership Services.
