Windsor insurance software developer Artizan Internet Services is acquiring InsWorld.com, an Avon electronic content publisher serving the financial services industry.
Terms of the deal to be completed by May were not disclosed.
Founded in 1999, Artizan’s patented software is used by insurance brokers and agents to communicate with insurance carriers, policyholders and prospects.
InsWorld relies on its information library to personalize publications and correspondence, such as newsletters and emails, for specific readers.
Aritzan President and managing Partner Richard Roy and InsWorld President Ed Roemke said the merger will broaden both companies’ product offerings to new and existing customers.
