Windsor officials green-light two 150,000-sq.-ft. warehouses

Windsor officials have signed off on plans to build two, 150,000-square-foot warehouses near Interstate 91.

The town Planning and Zoning Commission, on June 10, unanimously approved a site plan and subdivision requested for development of side-by-side warehouses on 35.7 acres at 176 Addison Road.

The proposal was brought by a limited liability company operated by real estate investors Bradford Wainman, of Glastonbury, and Steven Inglese, of Washington, Connecticut.

The duo have repeatedly teamed up for investments in existing commercial buildings, as well as new construction.

In 2023, they paid $9 million for the former Addison Corporate Center – a 400,000-square-foot flex industrial building and 200,000-square-foot office building on 78.6 acres at 175 and 176 Addison Road.

Last week’s site plan approval was contingent on satisfying any concerns that might be raised by town staff.

Town Planner Todd Sealy said Wednesday staff are working with the developers to ensure the town’s aesthetic standards for the building exteriors are met.
