Windsor IT services provider Cooperative Systems has acquired a cloud infrastructure provider just across the river in Manchester.
Cooperative said its acquisition of Fandotech was effective Sept. 1. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Fandotech, which also has a West Springfield office, was recognized as one of the fastest growing tech companies in Connecticut in 2011, when it reported having 130 employees.
The following year, the disaster recovery and data backup provider was acquired for an undisclosed sum by Massachusetts-based cybersecurity firm Industrial Defender, which renamed it Survive Services.
The deal brings 14 new employees to Cooperative Systems, which offers IT services across a variety of industries, said in a statement that it plans to integrate Fandotech’s capabilities into the suite of services it offers to its customers.
The company was a winner in Hartford Business Journal’s 2020 Best Places To Work awards.
