Windsor’s Vantis Life Insurance Co. says first-half insurance sales rose 34 percent from a year ago.
Meanwhile, Vantis says industry rating agency A.M. Best has rated it an A- (excellent) with a stable outlook based on its life and annuity sales through commercial banks. Vantis’ products are sold largely via the Web.
Vantis said its strong first-half premium growth was on top of its 22 percent increase for all of 2010 vs. 2009.
