Windsor financial software provider SS&C Technologies Holdings Inc. has acquired North Carolina-based Millennium Consulting Services and Millennium Seminar Services, which serve insurance companies and regulators.
The purchase will enhance consulting and insurance products that SS&C offers to its customers, the company said. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Today’s competitive insurance market requires robust advisory services, specialist training and technology,” Bill Stone, board chair and CEO of SS&C Technologies, said. “The Millennium companies have extensive experience working with more than 70 U.S. health, property and casualty, life insurance, risk retention groups”
SS&C will add 13 U.S. employees as a result of the acquisition, and the leaders of the Millennium companies ‒ Bruce Cromartie and Colleen Gingrich ‒ will lead those businesses, according to SS&C.
