Windsor Federal Savings, the only mutual bank headquartered in Hartford County, says it will relocate its administrative offices next year.
Administrative employees based at 250 and 270 Broad St. in Windsor will relocate across I-91 to a newly leased space four miles away, at 995 Day Hill Road in Windsor.
The move will take place in the second half of 2020, after renovations are complete, the bank said.
The 250 Broad St. branch, one of Windsor Federal’s seven full-service offices (it also has several limited service locations in high schools and other locations) will remain, and the bank has future plans to renovate it.
“As we continue to expand our services and reach, we are adding team members and have outgrown our space,” CEO George Hermann said in a statement. “The property chosen suits the needs of our employees and our organization well, providing the location and space that will further strengthen our foundation, support our future, and help us to better serve our customers as we grow.”
Windsor Federal has $455.2 million in deposits, according to the Federal Deposit and Insurance Corp.
