Windham Hospital said it must cut expenses by $2.2 million by September, forcing the 130-bed acute care health provider to eliminate the equivalent of 15 to 20 full-time jobs, The Norwich Bulletin reports.
The reductions will come by the end of September and will include union and nonunion positions, The Bulletin reports.
Windham Hospital is part of the Hartford HealthCare system.
Some of the staff reductions will be achieved by leaving positions vacant and through attrition.
