Windham’s 36-unit Oakridge Apartments has changed hands for $1.65 million, a realty broker says.
The 49-year-old complex at 317-387 Roanoke Ave., at the junction of Routes 32 and 6, in the town’s Willimantic section, consists of 24 one-bedroom and 12 two-bed units.
According to off-campus student-housing website OCH-CT.Com, Oakridge is seven miles from UConn’s main Storrs campus and within walking distance of Eastern Connecticut State University’s campus.
157-35 OAP Holdings LLC sold to Oakridge Realty LLC, according to Hartford-based Chozick Realty, who says it brought both parties to the table.
Before the sale, the seller installed new gas furnaces and hot water systems and renovated many of the apartment units, as well as remodeled all common areas, Chozick Realty principal Rick Chozick said Thursday.
