Wilton mystery-shopper and marketing services firm D.L. Ryan Companies has merged with a Chicago firm that claims to be one of the nation’s leading independent marketing services vendors.
Ryan’s merger with SolutionSet MediaWhiz Partnership created a new firm, Hyper Marketing Inc. Network (HMI).
Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
D.L. Ryan founder David Ryan, who had been chairman, becomes one of HMI’s two vice chairmen.
HMI’s client roster includes Adidas, AT&T, American Express, Dell, eBay, GlaxoSmithKline, Kellogg’s, Office Depot, The Home Depot, among others.
HMI is a portfolio company of Chicago private-equity firm Lake Capital.
