Wilson-Gray YMCA receives grant from First Niagara

The Wilson-Gray YMCA Youth and Family Center has received a $15,000 grant from First Niagara Foundation, the philanthropic arm of First Niagara Bank, given in support of the YMCA Teen Incentive Program, which benefits underserved, at-risk teenagers ages 13-18 from Hartford’s Clay-Arsenal and Upper Albany neighborhoods. Y-TIP provides a support system that helps at-risk teens overcome cultural barriers and challenges, including involvement in gangs, violence, drugs, and other harmful and self-destructive influences.
