William Pitt plans training center in Madison

William Pitt Real Estate LLC has leased 1,100 square feet of office space at 38 Academy Street, Madison. The second-floor open office and training space is located off Rt. 79 at the edge of Madison’s downtown business district. Pitt plans to establish a training center to support its network of residential real estate brokers.

Kristin Geenty of the Geenty Group in Branford was the agent for the building owner, 38 Academy Street LLC. Rob McConville of William Pitt Sotheby’s was the agent for the tenant.

Land ‘N’ Sea Distributing, a division of Brunswick Marine Inc., has leased a 30,000-square-foot freestanding warehouse facility at 115 Forest St., Norwich. John Newsom is the Vice President. The tenant is a distributor of finished goods and parts to the marine industry, including marinas, retailers, etc. The landlord is Working Realty, Ltd. of New York. Kevin Geenty of the Geenty Group, Realtors was sole broker in the transaction.

A 5,807-square-foot industrial building on 0.45 acres at 20-26 Quirk Rd., Milford, has sold for $470,000. The building houses two units, one leased by a medical laboratory and the other to be used by the buyer, Duane Field. Seller was Maiorano Holdings LLC of Bethany, represented by John Bergin of Pearce Commercial. The buyer was represented by James Montanaro of Coldwell Banker in Orange.

BH Care CFO Lorraine Branecky says her company has several locations in Connecticut and will use the Branford facility for counseling of young adults, including job preparation skills. Gray Eagle Inc. owns the building. Bill Clark of the Geenty Group, Realtors was sole agent in the transaction
