Quinnipiac University hired veteran New Haven librarian Matt E. Wilcox to run its new medical-school library when it opens in July.
Wilcox is associate director of technical services for the Health Sciences Library on the Hamden school’s North Haven campus. Classes at the medical school launch this fall.
Wilcox previously was the public health librarian and director of academic technology at Yale’s School of Public Health.
He has a master’s in library information sciences from the University of Illinois and a master’s in English from James Madison University.
He is a member of the Medical Library Association and the North Atlantic Health Sciences Librarians association.
