Connecticut’s labor agency and two community groups are helping natural foods retailer Whole Foods recruit 150 workers for its third Connecticut store due to open in Fairfield this spring.
ConnecticutWorks, along with nonprofits CTE Inc. of Stamford and NEON Inc. of Norwalk, have pre-screened 450 applicants who will now undergo additional interviews to fill the 150 slots, the state said Monday.
The 50,000-square-foot Whole Foods store is under construction at 350 Grasmere Ave.
