Whole Foods Market will open a new 42,000-square-foot grocery store at 1985 Highland Ave. in Cheshire on Feb. 5, the company announced.
The store will open at 8 a.m. on opening day and operate daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. It will feature more than 1,000 products sourced from over 230 suppliers across New England, including produce, dairy, packaged foods, baked goods and wellness products, according to Whole Foods.
The Cheshire location will include full-service meat, seafood and prepared foods departments, a bakery, a specialty cheese counter and a curated grocery section highlighting local and regional brands.
Whole Foods will serve as the anchor tenant at The Shops at Stone Bridge, a new 155,000-square-foot retail development in Cheshire at the intersection of Route 10 and Interstate 691.

The center, developed by Florida-based Regency Centers, is nearly fully leased, with two available retail spaces totaling about 4,700 square feet, according to a leasing brochure. Other tenants include TJ Maxx, Barnes & Noble, Sephora, Shake Shack, J. Crew Factory and Chase Bank.
The retail property is part of a broader mixed-use development known as Stone Bridge Crossing.
