The White House has chosen Hartford for a $1 million innovation grant to spur long-term economic growth and job creation, authorities say.
Mayor Pedro E. Segarra will join Congressman John B. Larson and Sen. Richard Blumenthal at 11 a.m. Monday at City Hall to formally announce details of the grant.
Hartford is one of three cities awarded grants through the Obama Administration’s Strong Cities, Strong Communities Challenge, officials said.
