What Workers Want In A Boss

Being the boss looks easy. Being a boss who looks good might make it easier.

If you’re a handsome chap or a beautiful woman and you’re also the boss, your workers are going to like you more, according to a Work & Power survey by Elle magazine and MSNBC.com.

The report, which surveyed nearly 62,000 people, found that good-looking bosses were more likely to be described as competent, collaborative and good delegators. Employees also were more likely to think these bosses had gotten their jobs because of hard work, social skills and talent (not looks).

Less than 15 percent of unattractive leaders received high marks in any category from their employees.
