A New York-based buyer recently paid $2.3 million for a Wethersfield building hosting a Burger King.
Burger Barn Wethersfield RE LLC, of Melville, New York, purchased the 50-year-old, 5,804-square-foot fast-foot building on nearly an acre at 872 Silas Deane Highway from Avon-based PHM Associates in a deed recorded Nov. 15.
The property last traded hands in 1991 for $600,000, records show. It was built in 1972.
