Westport tech company expanding into fantasy football with new acquisition

Westport-based gaming technology company Mobile Global Esports Inc. announced this week it has agreed to acquire a fantasy football platform modeled on NFL player contracts and salary-cap rules.

The deal will give Mobile Global ownership of Reality Sports Online, which lets users manage virtual teams through multi-year contracts and free-agent auctions. The acquisition is expected to close in early November.

Mobile Global executives said the move broadens the company’s presence in the fantasy sports and predictive gaming market. Mobile Global plans to integrate Reality Sports Online’s contract-based gameplay with its AI-powered PUHZL analytics engine to deepen user engagement and add new monetization tools, the company said.

CEO Brett Rosin said the acquisition supports the publicly traded company’s goal of creating more realistic, data-driven sports ownership experiences. Reality Sports Online has about 7,000 paying users, and the integration is expected to boost revenue next year.
