A restaurant building in Westport has sold for $3.3 million, according to town property records.
N C C Property LLC, controlled by Xiao Ming Chen and Xiao Wen Chen of New York, purchased the 6,532-square-foot building at 680 Post Road E. in early December. Attempts to reach the buyers were unsuccessful, and an email to N C C Property LLC was not immediately returned.
The seller, Klinga Properties LLC, is controlled by John V. Klinga of Milford; Edward A. Klinga of Fairfield; Elizabeth Klinga of Colorado; and Thomas Klinga of Wilton. The company acquired the property in 2018.
Sakura Japanese Restaurant has occupied the building since 1982, according to its website.
The building sits on a 0.87-acre parcel and was constructed in 1927. It was appraised at $2.15 million and assessed at $1.51 million in 2024.
