West Hartford’s Mayor’s Charity Ball raises funds for nonprofits

West Hartford’s 15th annual Mayor’s Charity Ball raised over $53,000 for two nonprofit organizations: Playhouse on Park and HopeWorks Inc. The event was sponsored by Aetna and named in honor of West Hartford Mayor Scott Slifka. Playhouse on Park is a volunteer professional theater located in West Hartford that offers affordable plays and musicals. HopeWorks is a West Hartford nonprofit that provides counseling and support services to teens, parents and caregivers.
