West Hartford-based Legrand has purchased a Canadian lighting manufacturer, according to information from the company.
Legrand, an electrical and digital infrastructure manufacturing company, announced it has acquired Ontario, Canada-based lighting control manufacturer Encelium Advanced Lighting Management for an undisclosed amount. According to the company, the purchase will enhance Legrand’s existing portfolio of commercial lighting control offerings.
Encelium will become a part of Legrand’s Building Control Systems division for its in-fixture control options, site lighting, and controls systems.
Legrand’s parent company is based in France. The company makes cables, intercom systems, lighting controls and an array of other digital products for homes and buildings.
