Chick-fil-A Inc. is opening a new restaurant in West Hartford Feb. 9, and expects to employ 90 full- and part-time workers.
The franchise, located at 509 New Park Ave., will be overseen by local owner Daryl Jackson, the company said. Originally from Naugatuck, Jackson has more than 20 years of experience in the manufacturing finance field, with his most recent post as CFO for a Berkshire Hathaway/Marmon Group company.
Founded in 1967 by S. Truett Cathy, Chick-fil-A is known for its original chicken sandwiches. The company operates more than 2,000 restaurants in 46 states and Washington, D.C.
