Mission: Wellspring is a psychotherapeutic and educational center dedicated to healing through relational approaches — to self, others, creation, and spirit — which touch and bring forth the wellspring of personal being unique to each individual. Wellspring assists individuals and families in working through the emotional, psychological, and educational issues that prevent them from establishing and maintaining healthy and meaningful lives.
Background: Wellspring is a multi-service mental health agency, licensed by the State of Connecticut, and accredited by The Joint Commission (formerly known as JCAHO). Since its beginning in 1977, Wellspring has progressively expanded its services to provide residential treatment for children, adolescent girls, and adults; extensive outpatient services; and a therapeutic state-approved special education school. Wellspring is dedicated to healing through relational approaches- to self, to others, to creation, and to Spirit — which touch and bring forth the wellspring of personal being, unique to each individual.
Major Fundraiser: Wellspring’s sixth annual benefit auction will take place on Oct. 2 at the Litchfield Community Center.
Volunteer Needs: Wellspring is seeking volunteers to join our fundraising and auction committees along with individuals and corporations who are interested in donating a day of service. Please contact Joan Barry, director of external affairs/development for more information.
