Wells Fargo Bank is piloting a mobile-deposit service for online customers at its 74 Connecticut branches and 101 automated teller machines.
Wells Fargo Mobile Deposit lets customers 18 or older use their iPhones or Android devices to submit images of the front and bank of endorsed checks. Users must download an app to access the service, the bank said Monday.
The service so far is unavailable on Windows and Blackberry platforms.
Wells Fargo’s other mobile deposit pilots are underway in New York, Arizona, Washington, the San Francisco Greater Bay area, Nebraska and Kansas.
