Wells Fargo & Co., with dozens of bank branches in Connecticut, said Wednesday its insurance unit bought employee benefits insurance broker Prestige Professional Plans for an undisclosed amount, The Associated Press reports.
The firm has one office in Dayton, Ohio. It provides businesses and individuals with employee benefits consulting and brokerage services including medical, dental, life, vision, disability, and other health insurance plans.
The deal closed on Dec. 1, 2010.
