Principals of a welding business have purchased an industrial building in Newington for $1.28 million, according to town property records.
Holland Drive LLC, controlled by Darius Kania, of Newington, and Ibrahim Ibrahim, of Avon, bought the 10,170-square-foot building at 16 Holland Drive. Kania is vice president of Newington-based Lynn Welding, while Ibrahim is the company’s operations manager. Calls to Lynn Welding were not immediately returned.
The company provides welding and machining services for the aerospace, defense, nuclear, industrial and medical sectors, according to its website. It lists 75 Rockwell Road, in Newington, as its main location in its website.
The seller was Holland Realty LLC, controlled by Dina Palmese, of Berlin, James Boryczewski, of Winsted, and Diana Ostryzyzek, of Durham.
The building sits on 1.04 acres and was built in 1989. It is appraised at $826,100 and assessed at $578,270.
