Douglas O. Hart, Webster Bank‘s chief accounting officer, is retiring from the Waterbury regional bank in November, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
Hart, 57, joined the bank as senior vice president and accounting chief in June 2007 and was promoted to executive vice president in September 2008.
Webster has launched a search for a successor, the bank declared in its third-quarter SEC filing.
Before coming to Webster, Hart was senior executive vice president for treasury operations and deposits at MBNA Corp. in Wilmington, Del.
