Webster sells ex-branch; Dunkin buys in Waterbury

The sale of 80 E. Main St. in Middletown drew a $377,000 price. The price was incorrect in an earlier version.

The historic Simsbury building that had served as a branch for Webster Bank sold recently for $1 million.

Chestnut Hill Associates of Simsbury LLC bought 690 Hopmeadow St., a 17,000-square-foot, three-story office and retail building in Simsbury’s center.

Webster sold the building that it vacated last November after opening its newest Simsbury branch at 708 Hopmeadow St., barely a block from the old one.

Chestnut Hill Associates says it has future plans for the structure but did not elaborate.
