Prior to joining Webster, Annon held senior positions in private banking, loan administration and commercial lending at former Shawmut Bank and its predecessors.
O’Brien, senior vice president of commercial banking, will focus on commercial banking and coordinate Webster’s business and community affairs activities in the greater Waterbury and northwest Connecticut regions extending to the Duchess and Putnam County, N.Y., borders.
O’Brien has managed the bank’s Waterbury commercial loan group the past 14 years and will continue in that function. Before joining Webster in 1994, O’Brien also held positions with Shawmut and its predecessors.
