Waterbury regional lender Webster Bank is outsourcing some of its information-technology and branch-management operations to vendors.
Fidelity Information Services will manage Webster’s IT network, telecommunications, servers, and data storage infrastructure for the next eight years.
Separately, Webster has signed a new five-year pact with realty broker-property manager Jones Lang LaSalle to manage Webster’s 168 owned and leased branches, seven regional hubs and other corporate facilities.
Contract terms weren’t disclosed.
“These two agreements will significantly enhance our ability to deliver value-added services and superior service to customers and will help us better manage costs,” Webster President Jerry Plush said in a statement.
