The Women’s Business Development Council is seeking volunteers to help small businesses in Connecticut.
WBDC is the leader of entrepreneurial training for women in the state. Volunteers can teach, counsel or coach would-be entrepreneurs and provide general agency support.
The organization is holding an open house for volunteers from noon to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 16 at its headquarters, 184 Bedford St. in Stamford. To reserve a space call Kenyetta Banks at 203.910.4663.
