Wayback Burger’s heading to Brunei and beyond

Wayback Burgers, headquartered in Cheshire, has announced a master franchise partnership with Brunei-based JonRidge(B) Sdn Bhd. It will lead to six locations for the hamburger chain in Brunei with the possibility to spread beyond into Southeast Asia. Financial terms were not disclosed.

John Carter, founder and CEO of Wayback Burgers, said, “With steady debt-free growth, locations in 22 states, new locations opening at a rate of two per month and our strong 32 country international development schedule, Wayback Burgers has solidified itself as a formidable player in the better burger category in the United States and abroad.”

In addition to Brunei, Wayback Burgers, through its executed master franchise agreements, plans to open in 32 countries in the Middle East, Northern Africa, Argentina, and Pakistan, along with pending agreements for Canada and India. It currently operates in Argentina.
