Defending champion Bubba Watson and previous winner Kenny Perry lead a high-powered lineup of pro golfers who have signed on to play in the 2011 Travelers Championship in Cromwell this summer.
Along with Watson and Perry, Vijay Singh, Lucas Glover, Jhonattan Vegas and Anthony Kim have officially committed to compete at TPC River Highlands on June 20-26, officials say.
“I’m thrilled to have players of this caliber already committing to our tournament,” said Travelers Championship Tournament Director Nathan Grube.
Watson will make his fifth appearance at the Travelers, where with last year’s win he captured his first career victory on the PGA Tour.
Perry, a 14-time PGA Tour winner, will be making his 23rd Travelers appearance. In 2009, he conquered TPC River Highlands with a record-setting 22 under par (258 overall).
