A limited liability company controlled by Watertown businessman Peter Lupachino paid nearly $2 million for the former Premier Subaru dealership location on Straits Turnpike in Watertown this week.
Premier Subaru moved to a new Middlebury location last year.
A limited liability company controlled by Premier Subaru President Robert Alvine sold the 23,676-square-foot building on 1.57 acres at 795 Straits Turnpike to 795 Straits Turnpike LLC in a $1.96 million deal recorded by the town on Monday.
The buying LLC’s principal is Lupachino, who is also president of Watertown-based Lupo Electric.
An attempt to reach Lupachino Wednesday morning was not immediately successful.
The property was listed by Brian Godin, a partner in Middlebury-based Godin Property Brokers.
Godin, reached Wednesday morning, said the new owner plans to divide the property for lease to commercial tenants.
