The manager of several downtown Hartford hotels has acquired Hyatt House in Windsor for $17 million.
Waterford Hotel Group, which owns Marriott Downtown Hartford, Hilton Hartford and Residence Inn by Marriott Hartford, said the 132-room Hyatt House is among five hotels it has added this year to its portfolio, which now numbers 28 properties in seven states.
The Hyatt House sale closed on Aug. 12, according to town assessor records. The seller was Philadelphia-based Pra Development & Management Corp.
Waterford said it also added to its portfolio a Courtyard by Marriott in Shelton, a SpringHill Suites by Marriott and a Residence Inn by Marriott in Milford.
Earlier this year, Waterford added a DoubleTree in Arkansas to its portfolio.
