The Waterford Hotel Group, which manages the Connecticut Convention Center and 14 other Connecticut hotel properties, has hired Peter Nichols as vice president of development, it announced.
Nichols most recently worked as a vice president for Hodges Ward Elliot, an Atlanta hotel investment group with $27.5 billion in transactions since 2003.
The Cheshire native will return to Connecticut from Atlanta, Waterford said.
