The principals of Waterbury-based Torrco, a plumbing and HVAC supply company, have purchased their Stamford location for $5.2 million, according to land records.
Torrco is a family-owned, wholesale distributor of plumbing, piping and HVAC parts and supplies. It has locations across the state in Bristol, Danbury, East Windsor, Waterbury and Stamford, at 633 Hope St.
That 61,699-square-foot, one-story office-warehouse building in Stamford was recently purchased by 633 Hope St LLC, which is controlled by Christopher and Emily Fasano, of North Haven, Molly Lemle of New York, and Sara Goodliss of Massachusetts.
Christopher Fasano is Torrco’s president and chief operating officer, according to the company’s website. Emily Fasano is a senior sales and design consultant, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Lemle is design consultant with the company.
Calls to Torrco, originally named Torrington Supply Co., were not immediately returned.
The Stamford building, which was built in 1971 and sits on 1.47 acres, was appraised at $4.98 million and assessed at $3.49 million in 2023, property records show.
The seller was Mary C. Silberman, doing business as P. Silberman Inc., the property’s owner since 1968.
