A Brooklyn-based limited liability company recently paid $4.5 million for a seven-story, 66-unit apartment building in Waterbury.
SMB Hillside LLC bought the 74,305-square-foot building on 1.5 acres at 170 Hillside Ave. from MH Hillside LLC.
MH paid $2.9 million for the property in 2019, according to assessing records. The seller’s principal is Jeffrey Srulowitz, with a business address on Madison Avenue in Manhattan.
SMB has two principals. One, BMZL Holdings, is a New York-registered entity with a Brooklyn address. The second is Abraham Gottesman, who lists a Brooklyn business address and a Monsey, New York home in state business records.
The high-rise was built in 1966.Â
