The maker of electrical, electronic and fiber optic connectors, antennas, sensors, and coaxial and high-speed specialty cable said it bought Narda-MITEQ in May.
Narda designs and manufactures active radio frequency interconnect components that Amphenol says will complement its product offerings primarily in the defense market.
Based in Hauppauge, New York, Narda has annual sales of approximately $120 million.
The deal is
the company’s fourth in 2025, and the latest in a string of acquisitions over the past few years. It says the buying spree serves its ongoing strategy of market and geographic diversification.
Amphenol reported second-quarter sales of $5.65 billion, beating its own forecasts.
“Sales increased from prior year by 57%, driven by strong organic growth in all of our end markets including exceptional organic growth in the IT datacom market as well as contributions from the company’s acquisition program,” said President and CEO R. Adam Norwitt.
The company forecast third-quarter revenue between $5.4 billion and $5.5 billion, an increase of about 34% to 36% from a year ago.
