Dexmet Corp., a Wallingford maker of metal foils and polymers for industrial applications, has been sold to a West Coast private equity investor.
Sverica International Management LLC, with offices in Boston and San Francisco, didn’t say what it paid for Dexmet. The deal closed last Friday.
Dexmet components also are used in industrial filtration equipment, lightning-strike protection for aircraft, and for anodes and cathodes for advanced batteries.
Its plant is at 22 Barnes Industrial Road South.
Dexmet joins 15 other companies in Sverica’s equity portfolio.
Abacus Finance Group LLC and Avante Mezzanine Partners provided financing for the deal.
