James Wakim has been appointed a trustee of the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford. Wakim will serve a three-year term on the Board of Trustees, which governs the non-profit university. Wakim is president and chief operating officer of The Simon Konover Company (TSKC) in West Hartford. Prior to joining TSKC in 2008, Wakim was a partner in the Capital Markets Group of the Boston-based law firm of Brown Rudnick LLP. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Connecticut and received his juris doctor, with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
